I’m always on the lookout for fun free printable worksheets for my kids. Now that I’m homeschooling, I thought it would be great not just to find some good ones but also to share some with those who need them to review, supplement, or keep your kids busy. I’ll be sharing them weekly moving forward.
Faux Leather Fall Statement Pieces to Add to Your Wardrobe
Fall is officially here, and as I mentioned in my round-up post of affordable dresses last week, although I’m no fan of the weather, the fashion is fun. Growing up in the Caribbean, I loved watching music videos with singers like Mary J. Blige, TLC, and the girl group Total in their leather looks. Leather didn’t make sense in tropical Grenada, but I dreamed of living in NYC, where I could rock those looks. Now, look at me, clad in black leather (well, faux leather). I love adding a little edginess to my fall wardrobe with faux leather dresses, skirts, leggings, and jackets. Here are some of my picks for fall 2020!

Midi Dresses
Photos by Adelaide Chantilily Photos
As I’ve shared before, I love more midi dress! Firstly, the length reminds me of my grandma’s dresses, and I love that they’re entirely mom-friendly and flattering.
I’m also a big fan of how they look with sneakers, which is usually my shoes of choice these days. This Zara midi dress is favorite this fall; it’s warm, stylish, and modern. I love a versatile piece that I can wear dressed up or down, and this dress fits the bill.

Leggings
Spanx is my go-to for leggings because of the excellent quality. I purchased a pair of their faux leather leggings during the Nordstrom anniversary sale last month, and I’m excited to wear it this fall and winter with blazers, thick sweaters, and graphic sweatshirts. I love that I can feel comfortable yet wear an edgy outfit. The Spanx faux leather leggings come in a few styles like these. They tend to sell out fast, so if you’re having difficulty finding them, I added a few other options.
Midi skirts
Whether you opt for a mini or midi style, a faux leather skirt always looks great. I would opt for my preferred length of the midi skirt.

Jackets

A leather jacket always makes a statement, whether it’s. A blazer, biker style, bomber, and/or trench coat style. One of the best ways to find an excellent leather jacket/coat is to search for thrift stores or high street fashion stores.
I hope you found this post helpful to add a little edginess to your wardrobe with faux leather this fall.
If you’re a long time reader you know that I’m not a fan of cold weather. I do enjoy fall fashion and my go-to is dresses with ankle boots or sneakers. I’ve been stocking up on dresses for the summer to fall transition that I can dress up or layer up as the weather dips. All 16 of these dresses are stylish and fun options for the transitional weather and they’re all under $100.

Let’s start with this yellow dress from H&M that I purchased last month. I’ve worn this dress a few times since because it’s so beautiful and versatile that you can dress it up or down, wear it with heels, sandals, sneakers or boots. I get compliments whenever I wear this dress, especially because of it’s rich yellow color which is perfect for the fall.
Another favorite is this sweatshirt dress, it’s very comfortable and looks great with sneakers. It’s comes in the purple color I’m wearing, green and cream. As the weather gets cooler, it’s a dress that’s easy to layer up.
I purchased this polka dot mesh dress earlier this year, and I love how versatile it is. I’ve worn it with boots, as shown in this photo, and with sneakers. I tried it with a pullover sweater recently, and it looks great as a skirt.

Here are all of my picks, I selected a wide range of colors and styles, and I ensured that I chose from budget-friendly stores that offer free expedited shipping.

Signs and Symptoms of Eczema Every Parent Should Know.
I was compensated by Med-IQ through an educational grant from Sanofi Genzyme and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals to write about the signs, symptoms, and treatments available for eczema/atopic dermatitis. All opinions are my own.
Don’t you wish your baby was born with a manual similar to those you get when you purchase a new car? You can turn to the page corresponding to the issue and voila, it’s fixed—no need to obsess or wonder. I wish my kids did, especially my firstborn. When she was a newborn, I knew nothing about babies, so when she came down with a nasty bout of cradle cap, I took her to the pediatrician, who was just as perplexed. Is it Eczema? He wasn’t sure. I ended up switching to another pediatrician who right away identified what it was. Years later, we realized that she does have Eczema on her feet. As we head into the colder months, it can be challenging for people who struggle with Atopic Dermatitis or Eczema. In honor of the 31 million Americans who have some form of Eczema, October is National Eczema Awareness month.
Now when it comes to Eczema, misinformation is rampant on the internet. I’m happy to partner with Med-IQ for a two-part series to share accurate, current Eczema information. For part one of this series, let’s chat signs and symptoms of Eczema.
Symptoms of Eczema
Itchy rash
An itchy rash that may be red or darker brown, purple, or ashen grey on dark skin is one of the symptoms of Eczema or Dermatitis. This rash may appear during any season but would most likely occur during extreme weather–too cold or too hot, so most people suffer mostly in the winter or summer.
Skin Reactions triggered by allergens
Skin reactions triggered by food sensitivity, pets, and/or wool clothing.
Covers a large area of skin
One form of Eczema, Atopic Dermatitis, may cover a large skin area.
Filaggrin Deficiency
One indicator is a filaggrin deficiency that results in “leaky” skin, which weakens the skin barrier causing increased sensitivity to allergens and irritants. Sufferers with the most severe cases of Atopic Dermatitis tend to have a filaggrin deficiency.
ps: If you notice that any of these symptoms occur repeatedly, it may be Atopic Dermatitis, which is considered a chronic condition. This form of Eczema can be agonizing for patients trying to deal with the pain and, in some cases, cover a large portion of their skin.
Signs of Eczema
Age Group
Eczema is common in certain age groups. As parents, it’s important to note that it occurs mostly in babies and toddlers, but some teens and adults also struggle.
Genetics
Eczema isn’t necessarily genetic, but some people may have predisposing genes making the likelihood stronger.
Seems unavoidable
Eczema may be unavoidable, regardless of what you use, so if you’re noticing that you’re trying to prevent dry itchiness, but it occurs, that might be a sign of Eczema.
I hope you found this information helpful to get an idea if you or your family members have Eczema. Eczema is a serious condition that can impact us financially, mentally, and emotionally so take good care of yourself or any family member struggling with Eczema.
PS: Med-IQ is conducting an anonymous survey and would appreciate your input. The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. Survey responses are shared only in aggregate. Your responses to these survey questions will provide Med-IQ with important information about your experiences with atopic dermatitis, which will help us develop future educational initiatives. Once you’ve completed the survey, you will have the option of providing your email address to be entered into a drawing administered by SOMA Strategies to win 1 of 10 $100 VISA gift cards.
If you choose to enter, your email address will be used only to randomly draw the winners and notify them of their prize.
The I am Every Good Thing Children’s Book Inspires Black Boy Joy!
We take Black boy joy seriously around here! My seven-year-old son is bright and happy, and I never want to his light to dim. Two years ago, I bought him Crown: Ode to the Fresh Cut by Peter Barnes and Gordon C. James, and it’s still one of his favorite books in our home library. So when I learned about Barnes and James new book, I am Every Good Thing, I wanted to get him a copy right away.
I am Every Good Thing is a timely book for Black children! This year many of us Black parents were forced to have hard conversations about race and systemic racism with our kids, so we needed this book to restore and affirm Black boy joy.
Every page of I am Every Good Thing is a beautiful reflection of my son—his ambition, politeness, brilliance, athleticism, and friendliness. These are the type of affirmations I would like for my son to memorize. I want him to always reflect on all of the positive attributes he brings to the world.
Here’s an excerpt from the book:
I am the undisputed champion.
I am a highlight reel of magnificence.
I am the celebration, the applause,
and the standing ovation.
I am the victory.
Such powerful words!
What I love most about this book is that it allows Black boys to embrace vulnerability. To own that sometimes they may not feel as strong as they usually do but carry themselves with dignity no matter what.
We all know representation matters, and my son loved seeing images that reflected his image in I Am Every Good Thing. The illustrations are beautiful and makes the words even more impactful to him. I loved taking this photo of him because he looks like he can walk right onto the book’s cover.
Don’t be mistaken, though; I am Every Good Thing isn’t a book just for Black children but an excellent book for all children. I’m going to be gifting this book to all of the kids in my life. I think it needs to be in every family’s library and every classroom. We will keep it in heavy rotation at our home to inspire black boy joy and affirm my son. Get your copy now, I am Every Good Thing is available at bookstores!
Did you read the I am Every Good Thing children’s book yet?
Last week I shared on Instagram that I’m homeschooling my children for the 2020-2021 school year. This wasn’t a decision I took lightly, but after many hours of research, meetings, and emails with my kids school, I knew it was the best option for my children. I wanted to share all of the homeschool materials we’re using for those of you who are also considering homeschooling your children or looking for supplemental material.
Homeschooling Materials: Curricula
Selecting a homeschool curriculum for my children was challenging for me. As a mom new to homeschooling, I didn’t know where to start, but I leaned on some of the moms I interviewed in this post. Ultimately, I decided on Time4Learning and Oh Freedom! A Conscious US History Curriculum (mainly for my 5th grader).
Time4Learning is a secular online curriculum and learning program. Before we officially started homeschool on September 1st, we tried out Time4Learning for one week to ensure it would be a good fit for us. The kids immediately loved it! Time4Learning makes the lessons fun for both kids and covers four subject areas language arts, math, science, and social studies. Time4Learning costs $40 monthly for both kids.
You can customize Time4Leaning to suit your family’s needs. This includes setting the length of their lesson times, playground time (they have educational games under this section), your school year dates, re-take quiz score, etc.
The kids and I have separate logins, and we’ve found the dashboard is user-friendly on both ends for us. My only issue is Time4Learning sometimes freezes in the middle of instruction or a quiz. I’ve contacted them, and they suggested using Google Chrome, but that doesn’t seem to prevent it.
Time4Learning also offers foreign languages as an elective, Time4Languages. My son signed up for Spanish while my daughter is taking French. Other languages offered include Chinese (Mandarin), German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Hebrew, and Latin. It’s $59.95 per student for 6 months and powered by Rosetta Stone.
My friend Bianca Dottin, who homeschools, pointed out that one of Time4Learning best features is recordkeeping. Here in NY, I’m required to submit quarterly reports. Using Time4Learning, I can generate reports of the work the kids completed on the website.
Oh Freedom! A Conscious US History Curriculum
I majored in History and African American Studies in college, so I wanted a history curriculum for my kids with an African American emphasis created by a Black homeschooling mom, Delina Pryce McPhaull. I’m excited about Oh Freedom! A Conscious US History Curriculum. It was $40 and is a digital download; I purchased the secular version. We’re going to be using a few textbooks with this curriculum that I bought on Amazon. I think this curriculum is also a good option as a supplement if your kids are enrolled in school.
If you don’t think either curriculm would work for you, Eva Wilson of Socamom did an excellent video in her new and very informative homeschool Facebook group on choosing a homeschool curriculum.
Homeschooling Materials: Online Classes
Outschool Classes
The kids started taking online classes over the summer break to keep them engaged and prevent summer slide. I needed to incorporate them into our homeschool plan for the year as I am juggling a lot and caring for my toddler and running a business. The kids started Outschool classes in August. Outschool offers both ongoing as well as individual courses. They’re affordable, the class sizes are usually about 4-6 kids, and the teachers make them fun and exciting. This quarter, the kids are taking ongoing Math, French, Art, STEM, and ukulele.
The cost of classes does add up, so if you’re not in a financial space to pay for them, Outschool offers financial assistance for eligible families. Get more information here. Like Time4Learning, you can also download a transcript from Outschool for record keeping.
Use this link to get a $20 credit towards your child’s first Outschool class.
My kids started taking CodeAdvantage classes over the summer. Initially, it was a partnership that I shared here on my Instagram. They teach coding in live interactive courses where the kids can get immediate feedback. My kids loved the classes and have been coding daily on code.org since. I signed them up to continue coding classes at CodeAdvantage this fall. Use the code rattlesandheels20 for $20 off of a coding class.
Homeschooling Materials: Workbooks
Even when they were enrolled in school, my kids always used workbooks for practice so naturally I got them a few for homeschool:
We also use YouTube, Disney+, games, puzzles, Time4Kids, National Geographic books for learning. As I learn my kids learning styles over the next few months, I’m sure I will add or change so of the homeschool materials we’re doing. Of course, I will continue to share more about our homeschool journey as these changes occur.
Switching to Non-Toxic Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex Mattress Improved My Sleep!
When was the last time you upgraded your mattress? For me, it was eight years ago. We’re intentional about taking good care of our mattresses, and we had invested in a good quality mattress, so I didn’t realize so much time had gone. As stressful as everything has been lately, my sleep hygiene was starting to suffer, and I knew that stepping up my wellness practices would be helpful. Sleep is the best self-care practice in our toolbox, but our sleep quality is directly tied to our mattress. We did a lot of research and eventually settled on the non-toxic Brentwood Hybrid Latex mattress. We’ve been sleeping on this luxury mattress for a few weeks now, and it’s definitely improved my sleep. Here’s my full experience.
BUYING A MATTRESS ONLINE AND THE SHIPPING PROCESS.
It’s a bit more challenging to go into stores in the middle of a pandemic to lay on different mattresses to find a good fit as we did when we bought our previous mattresses.
However, the perk of shopping online is that we could read a lot of reviews and learn more about the mattress before making a selection. Once we selected the Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex Mattress, we felt confident that we wouldn’t have to deal with buyer’s remorse because of their one-year trial policy that lets you return the mattress if it’s not a fit for you.
Our mattress arrived about a week after it was shipped, and it was vacuumed sealed in a box. The delivery man left the box outside of our door, and I tried to bring it in myself while my husband was at work, and it was just too heavy. I didn’t realize it then, but our king-sized mattress weighs 120 pounds, so it was much easier for us to move it together.
Once we opened up the box and cut the packaging, the mattress quickly opens up, which my kids enjoyed watching. I would recommend that you do this in your bedroom as it was more challenging to move the mattress once it opens out.
OFF-GASSING OR SMELLS.
Since the Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex mattress is non-toxic, it doesn’t off-gas the way traditional mattresses are treated with chemicals usually do, so there is no need to worry about harmful fumes. That said, our mattress did have a smell for about two hours after removing it from the box, but it was entirely gone by bedtime.
SLEEPING ON THE BRENTWOOD HOME HYBRID LATEX MATTRESS.
Okay, so here’s the tea on how my Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex Mattress improved my sleep.
Like most parents, we’re usually tired with achy bodies from work and caring for kids by the time we get into bed at night. I wanted a mattress that supported my body and yet felt comfortable but not too soft, so I settled on the medium mattress.
Thanks to the use of Brentwood’s Zoned Latex Foam, I got exactly what I wanted. The mattress is designed to reduce pressure points around your shoulders and hips and support the spine, making sleeping much more comfortable for us. I think this feature helped improve my sleep as I feel much better rested when I wake up in the morning.
This mattress also has 975 coils, which helps the memory foam to contour to your body.
Another feature that’s perfect for us as a couple is motion isolation. Thanks to this mattress’s design, we’re not roused out of our sleep whenever one of us moves or gets in or out of bed. I usually don’t even know when my husband gets up.
WHY WE SPECIFICALLY WANTED A NON-TOXIC MATTRESS.
You’re probably wondering why switching to a non-toxic mattress was so important to us. Well, during my last pregnancy, I did a lot of research before getting man organic crib mattress, and I learned that most traditional mattresses have chemicals like phthalates, formaldehyde, VOC, or even dyes.
I don’t want to sleep on a mattress that can be harmful to my body, especially after transitioning to safer products in our home.
We spend a significant portion of our life sleeping, and I believe mattresses might be the most overlooked yet important wellness product that can impact your overall quality of life and wellness.
If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering what materials are used to make these non-toxic mattresses. The Brentwood Home Latex Hybrid mattress is made with both 100% certified organic cotton and natural latex. There are also non-toxic alternative materials used in this mattress like a 100% recycled denim base layer, 100% natural plush wool instead of chemical fire retardants, and durable outer panels made from REPREVE®, a fabric that repurposes plastic water bottles.
Anyway, I hope that this review was helpful! The non-toxic Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex mattress is available in all sizes to get them for your entire family. I’m happy to sleep better during this pandemic and feel good to be using a mattress made in the United States.
Remember, you have a one-year guarantee, so if your sleep doesn’t improve as mine did, you can return it at any time during that one year free and get all of your money back.
This post on how to find a good family dentist is in partnership with Stephen J. Palluotto, Dentistry! As always, all opinions are my own.
Staying on top of my oral health has always been important to me. Of course, when I became a mom, that naturally extended to my kids. It’s easy to lose track of dentist visits and find a good family dentist, so I wanted to share a few tips for finding one for your family.
Do your Research.
We love our dentist, and I found him by researching online for a good family dentist in our area. I read lots and lots of reviews until I found one that sounded like a good fit for our family.
Ask around.
There is no better way to get a good idea of if the dentist would be right for your family than by asking around. You can ask other parents, friends and family members to share their experiences with a dentist you’re considering.
Look for a dentist who offers services you need.
Do you want an essential cleaning, or are you looking to get dental surgery or other services? If you need specific procedures done, you will have to find a dentist who can offer those services.
Determine if they accept your insurance.
This should be your first question when you contact a new dentist to ensure that you will have your insurance coverage. Also, I’ve found that some dental offices may take my insurance for adult dental care but not pediatric dental care, so be sure to ask. If they do not, find out if they offer and financing options through third party companies.
I hope these tips are helpful and you’re able to find a good family dentist that you’re happy with.
Family Things to do in NYC and nearby before summer ends!
This post is sponsored by Toyota USA. As always, all opinions are my own.
Summer is ending, and I’m lowkey sad! Although, due to the pandemic, we haven’t been able to do all of the things we usually enjoy doing, we’ve still made the best out of this summer as I shared here. We’ve been keeping close to home though and craving some more adventure, so when Toyota reached out to offer us the freedom to get out in the 2020 Toyota Highlander Platinum, we quickly jumped at the opportunity to enjoy some family fun. We tossed a few ideas around before settling on a three-point bucket list. We decided to do something old, new, and blue in and nearby NYC. I’m so glad we got out because we had an incredibly fun weekend!
If you’re looking for ideas here are three family things to do in NYC and nearby before summer ends.
Visit Robert Moses Beach in Long Island
I did a lot of research before this beach trip because I wanted to ensure that we could safely social distance at the beach and if it was open to non-residents of the area on weekends since that was the only time we could go. Robert Moses Beach is located in a state park, so there are no restrictions for non-residents.
I read online that people were getting there as early as 7:00 to get parking and a good spot on the beach since the beach is only open at 50% capacity.
We were able to find the beach easily using the navigation in the 2020 Toyota Highlander. It was 1 hour and 15 minutes ride from Queens, and I’m happy we had three rows, so the kids were able to ride comfortably. It was also really easy to unload the 2020 Toyota Highlander trunk with all of our beach necessities with the Handsfree Lift Gate activated by the kick of a foot.
When we arrived at the beach, there were only a few other families at the there so we were able to get a good spot near the water and enjoy some quiet time. It started to get much busier around 1:00 pm so that’s when we decided to head out before it became difficult to social distance.
The beach closed to additional people just around the time we were leaving. The cost of entry to the beach is $10 per car, which isn’t bad for the day. Masks are required, and although there wasn’t anyone enforcing it, I noticed most people wearing them when entering and leaving the beach.
Sunflower Picking in Long Island at Waterdrinker Family Farm
Next on our checklist was to do something new, and we’ve never been sunflower picking. We headed out to Long Island again to the Waterdrinker Family Farm that was friend recommended for some fun. This farm was perfect for sunflower picking because they had many other activities for the kids like a playground, farm animals, rides, and a tracker. The kids loved it there, and it was totally worth the 90-minute drive and thanks to the second row sunshades in the Toyota Highlander, my toddler was able to nap during the drive there.
Entry to the farm was $30 for our family, I’m not sure if they accept cards or contactless payments as we stopped to get cash on the way, but you can call ahead and ask before going as the farm as it isn’t close to any banks, etc.
(Re) Discover Prospect Park
When my husband and I just got married we lived close to Prospect Park and we would walk to the park almost every evening to tell each other about our days. My husband knows the park really well because he grew up in the area. Since moving away we rarely go back and have taken the kids only a few times. So for something old, we decided to take them on a memory walk through the park. Showing them where their dad grew up as well as some of our favorite spots in the park.
Prospect Park really doesn’t get the props it deserves as one of the most beautiful parks in the five boroughs. There are lots of playgrounds and open spaces for kids to play and have fun plus you can find lots good food in the area.
I hope you found some inspiration for family things to do in NYC and nearby before summer ends! Be safe and have fun friends!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.
This must be the most interesting Back to School season of our lifetime! Most of us parents are making decisions about whether or not our kids would be learning remotely or in-person and ensuring that they have everything that they need to be comfortable and safe. This is the school year; we’re labeling everything or personalizing the kids’ supplies so they could feel like they’re having the school experience if they’re at home and for the necessity of keeping it from getting mixed up with other kids stuff if they’re attending in person. We still have a few weeks before starting the new school year here in New York City, but I whipped out my Cricut Maker machine this week to make the kids some personalized school supplies.
DIY Personalized Pencil Case
I used the Molecule design in Cricut DesignSpace and customized it by deleting the other images only, including this lab image in my project.
Then I selected to make it and used Cricut Infusible Ink transfer sheets in Rainbow Watercolor Splash.
Once my design was cut, I weeded it and then used the Cricut Easy Press to transfer the design to the pencil case. Cosmetic Bag Blanks Cosmetic Bags are perfect for pencil cases, and they come in three different sizes.
I really love how the design came out and how simple it was! It took me about 35 minutes to complete.
DIY Tote Bag Library Bag
As most of you know, we’re big on reading over here, and after months of quarantine, the kids have read almost every book in this house. I’ve ordered more books than I would even want to think about, so we’re happy the library is open again, also though it’s limited service available. Keeping track of library books can be a struggle for us since we have so many books, so when I saw this Library Bag in Cricut Design Space, I knew it would be perfect to transport and store our borrowed books. This was a straightforward project that took me about 40 minutes, with most of that time spent weeding (most time-consuming part of the project).
To do this project, you will need a Cricut Canvas bag, Everyday Iron-on vinyl in a color of your choice, a Cricut weeder, and a Cricut Easy Press machine.
Start by selecting the design and selecting “Make this design”.
Then select “Mirror”.
Next cut design and weed.
Place the design center on your bag or as designed and then use Easy Press machine to transfer design to the bag.
I hope you find personalized school supplies inspiration from this post whether your kids are returning to school in-person, remotely, or you’re homeschooling this year.
Top Picks for Trendy Moms from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4149268″]
Until the end of August, Nordstrom will be having its anniversary sale! I can’t think of a year that we deserve this sale more than 2020. This pandemic has changed the way we live and shop and made us more conscious of how we spend our money. A big sale like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can really help if you’re on a tight budget for Back to School, stocking up on cold-weather necessities, baby products and even holiday gifts. This is truly one of the best sales of the year with almost everything marked down store-wide. If there’s one thing I love as much as quality products, it’s getting them on sale! All of my favorite products at Nordstrom are on sale right now, and I’ve put together a list of my picks for some of the best products that you can save on right now at their anniversary sale.
I stan my for Spanx leggings! They make the best leggings for us trendy mamas. These faux leather tights from Spanx are a classic that you can style with your favorite pair of sneakers or dress up with heels. I’ll repeat, Spanx makes the best leggings, in my opinion, and I think you’ll agree after you try them. They look great, offer good control, and they’re very comfortable. This is the lowest price I’ve seen them and I had to grab a pair for this fall.
If you know anything about me, it’s how much I love ankle boots. They’re my go-to in the fall and these white boots by Steve Madden are just gorgeous. I’m so happy that white boots are in again this fall. Steve Madden always has trendy styles that are comfortable and high-quality, and getting them on sale is perfect. I”m obsessed with this style as well as Vince Camuto snakeskin Ankle Boots.
I am a sucker for high-waisted workout leggings! Mainly because I love wearing crop tops and they’re flattering with high-waisted workout leggings. These leggings are super comfortable for workouts. They’re made from moisture-wicking fabric and have a no-slip waistband so they always stay in place which is always a bonus.
These boots are high-quality, functional, and look cute with jeans. I purchased a pair of Hunter Boots 8 years ago before Hurricane Sandy and I still wear them today. With quality that good, you have to snag them on sale for yourself and your kids. How cute is this Leopard kids pair?
This is a must-have for North-East winters especially slushy and snowy days. I‘ve purchased these boots for my kids and they keep their feet warm and dry. This is a really good price for them, if your family needs winter boots and I would get these.
These classic kicks are my go-to look for everything. These old-school babies look good with everything from jeans to skirts. They’re comfortable, feminine, and timeless BUT they’re also always $90. They priced way down for the Nordstrom anniversary sale.
These are possibly the coolest pair of Chuck Taylor’s I’ve seen! It’s a twist on a classic sneaker and combined with a modern vibe. I’m going to get these for my older daughter.
All Northface Coats are on sale, which is reason enough to hit the Nordstrom anniversary sale on its own. Northface is one of the few brands I trust to keep my kids warm through rough, Northeastern winters. Their coats rarely go on sale so grab them now for when it gets cold.
This set may have a sham, but the deal is no trick. 2020 has been the year of staying in, which means keeping the home as comfy as possible. I’ve been eyeing a few comforters for a while, just waiting for a sale, and now it’s time to up the coziness by a few notches.
