Are you a hippie mama? An artsy Patsy like me or just someone who loves Bohemian Style? I love to look Boho Chic and I wanted to share some of my favorite Bohemian Styles for the summer with you. This post is totally inspired by the ridiculously cute and comfortable Bohemian inspired outfit that I wore last week to the American Icons event.
If you want to have fun with bohemian style this summer like myself, here are some of my favorites and tips for styling them:

Maxi Dresses
Maxi dresses are easy, feminine and forgiving. A mother’s dream clothing item, right? Make sure your dress is long and flowy, the wrong length can take away from your overall look. My Maxi dress that I wore to the American Icons event was too long so I chose to tie a knot to prevent tripping on it and add a little edge to my style. Don’t be afraid to take risks by knotting long dresses!
Accessories
Go for natural and worn looking accessories similar to how the dress above is styled with a leather belt, leather flat thong sandals and upper arm cuff. I found this boho chic arm cuff on Asos which perfect to show off those new arm muscles from carrying around that baby.
The almost nude color of the sandals gives an illusion of bare feet which definitely for works well for a bohemian look. These basket weave sandals are perfect Bohemian style sandals for the summer. They are cute and easy for busy moms on the go, just slip them on and slip out of the door.
Kimonos
As I mentioned in my post on the best styles for nursing moms, kimonos are the perfect piece to layer an otherwise plain outfit and add some jazz and bohemian flair. This summer, I am particularly obsessed with longer ones. I plan on doubling my kimono as a beach cover-up.
Palazzo Pants
The fact that palazzo pants are back makes me feel a tad bit “mature’. Palazzo pants were one of my favorite styles in the 90’s. Wear them in bohemian style paired with a crochet or knitted blouse.
What’s your favorite bohemian style?

I’m all about a maxi dress. I’m digging the kimonos although I haven’t purchased one yet. I love funky prints and soft fabrics. It screams easy breezy while still being really cute.

Exactly, I couldn’t of said it better.

Right! They sure are perfect!
I love your look! Very stylish! I love a good maxi dress and cute accessories. I’ve seen people wear the palazzo pants but I don’t think they’re really my style.

Thank you Siobahn! Yeah, palazzo pants can be tricky to pull off.
