I decided to start Fashion Fridays here on the blog, fashion for mom and kids. Today, I’m going to feature none other than my daughter who calls herself “The Princess Fairy”. She loves to dress up and that means she’s fascinated by all things sparkly, pink, frilly or that can be described as “pretty”. Although, I’ve shared these pictures last week on the blog in my Follow Your Little Leader post. I wanted to share the details of her outfit for moms looking to recreate the look.
This is a casual spring weekend look.
Hair makes and breaks an outfit, even a preschooler’s outfit, so we started with her signature braid-out accessorized with these roses hair clips from H&M.
If you have a daughter, you know there is always a little story behind everything they own. My daughter fell in love with a pair of Jimmy Choo sparkly shoes at Nordstorm a few weeks ago. Yes, Jimmy Choo! It’s clearly accidental *covers face* but we walked by the shoe section and she was drawn to the Cinderella awesomeness. That’s when she decided that she wanted one and while I also wanted to collapse on the floor and throw a tantrum for a pair (Aren’t they drool-worthy?) I reminded her that she couldn’t wear heels and that the way her shoe budget is set up – you guys can figure out the rest!
Anyway, she settled for this pair at J. Crew and they are definitely the preschool equivalent of the Jimmy Choo’s.
