    Where to Buy Summer Flats and How to Wear them

    Did you stock up on flats for the summer yet? Well, if you haven’t already done so this post should help because I’ve found a few styles that I know you’ll love and some tips for wearing them.  This summer is all about  gladiator sandals and slip-on sneakers.

    I don’t know about you but I tend to do most of my shoe shopping online because the cute styles always sell out quickly at the brick and mortar stores.

    • Pair gladiator sandals with dresses and skirts.
    • Slip-on sneakers look fabulous with shorts, boyfriend jeans and even pencil skirts.
    • Have fun and accessorize with anklets and bright pedicures.

    I hope you enjoyed every second of the long weekend and got to de-stress, relax and make new memories with your family. The weather here in New York City was incredible and I spent my time outdoors playing with my kids, hanging out with family and dabbling in a few personal creative projects.

    Since I came of age in the 90’s I’m beyond thrilled that most of the trends are back. You know last week, I was obsessing over mom jeans but I loved knotted button-up shirts back then and I’m loving them even more now. Pair a knotted shirt with a high-waisted bottom like a maxi skirt or mom jeans and you are in chic business!

    There isn’t a TGIF as a Friday before a long weekend. That extra day off can feel like an extra week especially for us busy moms.
