It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for our Mommies Rattle and Roll Link-up Party!

I bet you’re in the thick of getting your kids ready for school and doing a little fall shopping. Here in New York, the kids go back to school in two weeks so it’s pretty much crunch time here. My daughter finished doing her summer homework packet yesterday and she’s focusing on making an introduction book for her teacher. She’s going into Pre-K and I thought it would be nice if we made a book together that gave the teacher a good idea of who she is and what she likes. I try to keep in mind that teachers are human and as much as we’ll like them to focus on just our babies, they are other kids in the class so I figured a little book would be a memorable and interesting way to let the teacher to meet the Princess Fairy.

What do you think? How do you introduce your kids to new teachers?

Thank you everyone who linked up with us last week, I really enjoyed hosting and  I did  read everyone’s blog and tweeted or commented on your posts.

Grab a drink! It’s time for Mommies Rattle and Roll Link-up Party.

As my Rattles and Heels babes know, I’m all about bringing out the fun (and style) in motherhood. Let’s face it, parenting is hard work and I mean physical, spiritual and emotional work but we got each other backs, right? Taking care of your kids and squeezing in a few minutes for yourself can leave you feeling depleted, stressed and anxious. Personally, I don’t like experiencing those emotions and I don’t want you to either. That’s why I’ve decided to start this blog link-up party.

One of many benefits I receive from reading blogs is a fun and fresh perspective on parenting. More importantly, I learn creative ways of performing mundane tasks. All in all, reading blogs and learning from other women helps me to design a better life (not perfect – but better).

I hope that every Wednesday when you come to party, you’ll discover posts that will motivate you and get you through the rest of your week. I hope you’ll share these discoveries with your girlfriends so they too can design a better life and enjoy the beauty and blessings of motherhood and life.
